Feelin' like a kid again...except there's wine

Hey there!

Hope you're having a great week so far! Mine has been pretty uneventful after a fun-filled weekend. My friend Jenny from college came and visited me and we spent all day Saturday at Coney Island. Here are some pics from our adventures:

 

Of course, we had to buy an overpriced ride photo. The little girl's face is pretty priceless (is that mean?!)

I love how vintage-y this photo looks! I guess that's the point with Instagram, right?

Lots of fun ensued later on that evening at a hole-in-the-wall bar in the Village...I will say nothing more!

I have to say that I couldn't have envisioned a better way to cap off the summer than an amusement park outing. The official end of summer isn't until mid-September, but it certainly feels like fall is upon us, what with the kiddos heading back to school and the fact that it's this time of year yet again:
