It is not immediately apparent what today's featured site has to do with the mind-body connection. But if you take time to think about it, the mind-body connection cannot be cultivated if we don't take the time to enrich our minds, explore new ideas, think critically, analyze, and above all, learn. These practices are to the brain what exercise is to the physical body, and by employing them both, we strengthen that mind-body connection.

A Site a Day in the Month of May: Ted.com
I'm a firm believer that a healthy mind begets a healthy body. I blogged about the mind-body connection when it comes to successfully overcoming body image issues in order to achieve lasting physical results recently. The theme can be found throughout this blog, in fact.
So without further ado, I present Ted.com: a collection of short, powerful talks about innovative ideas, covering everything from science to business to global issues. Some of these talks have transformed the way I look at certain issues, and I think have helped me to understand those issues on a deeper level. There's an infinite amount of talks on an infinite number of topics, just waiting for you to devour them! For a little inspiration, check out some of my favorites:
